Supplements are the one category where a warehouse can destroy your stock by doing nothing: dates expire on the shelf. Think14 tracks lots and picks FIFO from an owned Texas warehouse.
Every other category on this site loses value slowly or not at all. Supplements have a hard date after which the unit is worthless and cannot legally be sold, which makes warehouse discipline the difference between margin and write-off.
Amazon requires a minimum remaining shelf life on inbound FBA stock and rejects or disposes of units that fall short. Dates have to be captured on receipt, not discovered at pick time.
If a batch has a problem you need to know which units came from which lot and where they went. Without lot capture a recall becomes a guess across your whole inventory.
Picking the nearest shelf instead of the oldest lot quietly ages your stock until the back of the rack is unsellable. It has to be enforced by the system, not by goodwill.
Amazon requires expiry dates printed in a specific format and visible on the unit and case for date-sensitive products. Bad formatting gets inbounds rejected.
Every inbound supplement receipt records lot number and expiry date against the units. That data drives picking: we pull the oldest sellable lot first, so your shelf ages from the front rather than silently accumulating short-dated stock at the back.
Before an FBA inbound we check remaining shelf life against Amazon's requirement and tell you if a batch is too close to date to send. Short-dated stock is better diverted to merchant-fulfilled sale or a clearance channel while it still has value, rather than shipped to a fulfillment centre that will dispose of it.
Expiry date labeling is applied in the format Amazon requires, on both unit and case where applicable, as part of standard per-unit prep along with the FNSKU.

We are a fulfillment warehouse. We store, prep and ship finished, packaged, labeled supplement product. We are not a manufacturer, a repackager, or a facility that opens and reworks the contents of your product, and we do not hold the registrations that activity would require.
FDA facility registration, current Good Manufacturing Practice compliance for dietary supplement manufacturing, label claim compliance and ingredient legality all sit upstream with your manufacturer and with you as the brand owner. A 3PL does not inherit or discharge those obligations, and any 3PL implying otherwise is worth a second look.
If your product requires temperature-controlled or refrigerated storage, say so at quote stage. Ambient warehousing is not suitable for everything, and we would rather route you correctly than take stock we should not hold.
Storage, prep and shipping on a bottle of capsules are all small and predictable. The variable that decides supplement profitability is what proportion of each production run you sell before it dates out, and that is largely determined by inbound quantity decisions and picking discipline.
Buying twelve months of stock to hit a manufacturing price break is a false economy if two months of it expires on a shelf. The practical approach is buying to a realistic sell-through window, holding the stock somewhere cheap enough that you are not forced into FBA commitments early, and keeping visibility of what is short-dated while there is still time to act.
Oldest-lot-first picking is what stops the back of the rack becoming a write-off you discover too late.
Stock too close to date for FBA often still sells merchant-fulfilled or at clearance. Catching it early is the whole game.
A manufacturing price break that creates expired stock costs more than it saves.
Yes, both are captured at receipt against the units and drive FIFO picking, so the oldest sellable lot ships first.
We will flag it. Amazon requires minimum remaining shelf life on inbound date-sensitive stock and disposes of units that fall short, so we check before shipping and tell you if a batch should be diverted to merchant-fulfilled sale instead.
Yes, in the format Amazon requires on unit and case where applicable, alongside the FNSKU, as part of standard prep.
We are a fulfillment warehouse handling finished packaged product. FDA facility registration and cGMP compliance apply to supplement manufacturing and sit with your manufacturer, not with a 3PL. We do not open, repackage or rework product contents.
Our storage is ambient. If your product needs temperature control, tell us at quote stage and we will say plainly whether we are the right home for it.
